oh dude I totally get that, the cost to make the different things are very different, and I could totally be oversensitive about this but I maintain what I said. This is how i like to respond to this:

I mean I have been for the past three years. I think it’s bullshit personally because hair color or mods won’t affect my work performance - it simply wouldn’t. but I understand that our society associates mods with unprofessionality or delinquency or other dumb stereotypes and I can’t suddenly change that. I know some will think this is extreme or stupid or whatever but to me being turned down for my mods is like being turned down for your identity. Now hear me out, I chose to get these mods yes, but I never chose to view them as beautiful, and I didn’t decide they would make me feel complete. They’re as much of me as being gay, or caucasian, or female bodied. I know others don’t feel this way but they mean so much to me and I don’t like that it’s considered so acceptable to discriminate against that aspect of my identity. So simple answer XD sorry for ranting, would be yes I am offended, but I do understand the social stigmas, even if I don’t think they hold any ground.
